Before work begins

The work, information required, responsibilities, timetable and fees must be agreed before an engagement begins. A request may be declined or referred where it falls outside the available competence, capacity or service scope.

Service focus

Midland Ledger provides remote accounting support across the UK, focusing on bookkeeping and reconciliations, accounts and management information, business-tax support, budgeting, cash-flow forecasting and accounting systems and controls for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies.

Services outside the current scope

Midland Ledger does not provide statutory audit or assurance, personal tax, inheritance tax, personal capital-gains tax, legal advice, investment advice, regulated financial advice, insolvency advice or debt counselling.

Your responsibilities

You remain responsible for providing complete and accurate information, reviewing documents and submissions, making business decisions and meeting responsibilities that are not expressly included in the agreed engagement.

No guaranteed outcome

Accounting information can support compliance and decision-making, but no tax saving, funding decision, cash outcome, business performance or other result is guaranteed.

Rules and deadlines can change
